The "Belt and Road" International Student Innovation Competition of University Alliance on Food Education and Technology ---2021 Bakery Traditional Food Creation Competition is jointly organized by the Teaching steering Committee of Food Science and Engineering Specialty of Universities from the Ministry of Education, "Belt and Road" University Alliance of Food Education and Technology, and 18新利体育备用网址 It is initiated by Jiangnan University, and appeals to the participation of college students from “the Belt and Road” countries and regions.

The alliance adheres to the spirit of "Belt and Road" as well as the principles of "equality and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning, and mutual benefit". The Alliance is committed to promoting the cooperation among alliance members in talent cultivation, scientific research, cultural exchanges, etc., and aims to promote academic and cultural exchanges, by building cooperation platforms, innovating cooperation mechanisms, and strengthening resource sharing. Besides, it is proposed to contribute the cultivation of food talents in both universities and enterprises, improve the independent innovation ability of students, and effectively promote the integration of industry-university-research.

The 2021 Bakery Traditional Food Innovation Competition focuses on the cultural charm and economic value of traditional food. In line with the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality, universities in the "Belt and Road" Alliance of Food Education and Technology are volunteered to join hands to create a non-governmental and non-profit international multilateral cooperation platform.

For this year’s traditional baking food creativity competition, all the submitted products/proposal are required to reflect the characteristics of national traditional culture, and pay attention to the innovative concepts of nutrition, health, flavor, modeling, production technology.

This subject allows the participants to freely form a team. The participants should complete the team information (Attachment 1) and plan (Attachment 2) by the deadline of September 30, 2021.
